Dear friends,

because of the spread of Covid-19 throughout Europe and, in particular, as a result of the strict measures adopted in Italy to contain the contagion and restrictions on travel to Italy by other countries, the organizing team, together with several responsibles of the thematic areas, decided to suspend the realization of the European Humanist Forum which was to take place in Rome next June.

The Forum is only postponed; as soon as the emergency will be over, we will be able to establish when to realize it again. The work done so far will not be lost: we have the location, the accommodations, the updated web page and everything that the different working tables have already developed in this period of preparation.

The money paid to the Scout Center as an advance for the rental of the rooms and accommodation will also be refunded.

We hope that the crisis that the epidemic is producing will be useful for people to understand how unsustainable and inhuman this system is and that, therefore, becomes clear to everyone the importance of the European Humanist Forum as an ambit for the elaboration of a new model of society, which we will be able to relaunch with even more strength and enthusiasm as soon as we have the chance.

Wishing you all the best in this critical period, we send you a big hug.
